FABER-CASTELL – DRAWINGS COME ALIVE
Three spots for the kids’ range, 2011–2013.
CONNECTOR – “OCTOPUS” (2013)
MALSTUNDE – ART CLASS (2012)
BUTTERFLY (2011)
Three spots for Faber-Castell’s children’s range, all built on the same idea: what children draw comes to life. A butterfly takes off from the paper, an octopus waves its colourful tentacles, and a whole art class gets turned upside down by its own drawings.

On all three films I took care of the visual side from start to finish. I developed the storyboards, scribbled over frames from the shoot and illustrated every element by hand – with Faber-Castell colour pencils, of course. On set I supervised the shoot for post; back at the computer I 3D-tracked the footage, retouched the plates, animated the drawings and composited everything into the final films.
